Lovely 1950’s British oil painting capturing these soft, pastel shades of color, flowers in a vase. The painting dates to 1957 and is by the British artist, S. F. Jennieson (signed and dated upper left corner). Painted on a large scale, lovely muted colors presenting a gentle and relaxed feel to the flowers which includes roses and tulips, set against the backdrop of an arched window.
