1900-1999 French Impressionist Oil Painting Summer Lake Green Teal Colors

French School, mid-1900-1999 unsigned oil painting on canvas textured paper (reverse side is smooth, the painted side looks and feels as canvas), unframed overall 15 x 18 inches This painting is from a small collection of work by the same hand, all on the same canvas-textured heavyweight paper. They were purchased by us in France and the scenes all seem to be be from the South of France and Provence. They very much feel as if they were painted “en plein air” as the artist has captured the scene with a very fresh breezy feel to the colours and texture. All are unsigned, are very good quality by an accomplished hand, bear good bright colour and are very clean. The ideal way to display would be to affix it to board and frame it. Condition report: Very clean, stored by the artist for some time we believe. The paint is applied thickly in places, giving a great depth of texture and movement. Small pinholes to the extreme four corners where the artist affixed it to a board loosely to paint the image.
