The French Town French School (Fauvist), mid 1900-1999 indistinctly signed lower front oil painting on artists board, unframed size: 15 x 18 inches condition: very good provenance: from a private collection in Paris Superb mid 1900-1999 French Fauvist signed oil painting, depicting this warm and colorful view of an old harbour and village rooftop houses. Strong brushwork and bold colors which were so favoured by the Fauvist artists of the time. The painting dates to the 1950’s period and is indistinctly signed by its artist.
