French Impressionist Oil – Lady on Beach

Superb French Impressionist oil painting on canvas depicting this lady walking along a beach, sheltering from the heat of the overhead sun. She carries a basket under her arm, possibly bringing refreshment to the worker ahead of her. Painted with thick wide brushwork, one can really feel the texture of the oil paint on the canvas, and the artist has used a wonderful array of colors throughout the composition.
