The painting is signed and dated as well. From Batley in Yorkshire Arthur Terry Blamires was a teacher of Geography before becoming a full time artist in 1984. He painted scenes from the English Lake District and from Yorkshire. He painted in oils with a style that depicted scenes accurately and factually. Very good condition.
