Plagues of Egypt by Kate Orr (British 1900-1999) signed lower corner, circa 1990’s oil painting on board, unframed painting: 31 x 25 inches Superbly painted, Modern British oil painting on canvas, depicting this striking surrealist abstract composition painted with wonderfully thick impasto oil paint. The painting dates to the 1900-1999. It is signed by its artist, Kate Orr to the lower corner. The artist, who passed away in 2017, used to exhibit with the SoCo Artists, in East Sussex. We have acquired a large number of works by her and look forward to offering them over the coming year. Condition report: The painting is sound and presentable, unframed.
