Framed: 31.5 x 38 inches Canvas: 28.5 x 23 inches Provenance: private collection, France Condition: The painting is in overall sound condition without any worrying faults or major structural concerns. There are surface scuffs and scratches from previous storage (the work has come from a private collection in deepest France). The frame is largely intact but does have weaker plaster and plaster loss and we do expect despite all efforts will be made to ensure safe carriage that some old areas of plaster may break away during transit.
