Vibrant Abstract Landscape Suzanne Vattier, French 1901-1996 gouache painting on artist paper, framed size: 7 x 10.5 inches Suzanne Vattier (1901-1996) was a pupil of the famous painter, André Lhote. She evolved from Cubism to a dreamlike art symbolic visions. She has exhibited in several galleries and salons of Paris, the International contest in Cannes, Biarritz and at René Borrel in Deauville; Nationals Abroad: Miami (USA), Brussels, Naples, Rome and she has won numerous awards including the “Golden Plate” contest of the Seven Hills in Rome and a gold medal at the International competition “Italia “in Naples.
