1900s French Atelier Life Drawing Academic Sculpture of Male Nude Figure

Life study drawing original atelier drawing by the French artist, Jeanne Nachat (1898-1984) Nachat attended the prestigious Académie des Beaux-Arts in Paris and some of the drawings in this collection carry their official stamp. Some of France’s most well known and famous artists began their careers there. unsigned pencil/ charcoal on paper, unframed measurements: 25 x 18.75 condition: overall the centre core part of the image is in very good condition. However, as is typical for unframed pieces of paper of this age and lifespan, the edges are very rough and coarse and have paper edge tears, creases and losses. Most of these should be concealable once framed. provenance: all the drawings we have for sale by this artist have come from the artists estate in France.
