‘Abstract Composition’ by Michael Haswell (British, 1931-2020) inscribed verso acrylic painting on box canvas (painted edges so do not require framing) canvas measures: 39.5 x 31.5 inches provenance: all the paintings we currently have for sale have come from the artists estate in England. Beautiful modern abstract painting on canvas, by the well listed and much admired British painter, Michael Haswell (1931-2020). The artist has captured wonderful forms and shapes within an abstract composition, painted with an array of colors all of which are ideal for todays interiors. Haswell joined the Leicester Sketch Club in 1965 and went on to become its President in 1973. He was also a full member of the Leicester Society of artists were he exhibited regularly until his death in 2020. Painted on this large scale, it is a superbly decorative work.
