The old stone farm house stands to the centre and with distant, rugged hills behind – it is an idyllic scene. One can almost smell the lavender! The painting is of French authorship and dates to the second half of the 1900-1999. It is a good size and presented in lovely condition and fresh in from a private collection in France. Condition report: The painting is in very good and presentable condition. The frame has very few minor scuffs to the surface and edges.
