Parisian Abstract Expressionist Original Oil Painting – Terracotta and Ochre

Stunning original oil painting by the French abstract artist, Yvette Dubois-Habasque (1929-2016). The painting has excellent provenance having come from the artists studio sale in Paris. The painting, on heavyweight paper (the artist used a sheet of Liberty “Terrrace” wallpaper – the design of which does show through where the paint is sparse), in strong ochres, neutrals and terracottas. Abstract composition of shapes, patterns and movement within the palette range. It is quite beautiful. We have acquired a stunning collection of works by this artist – all from the artists studio in Paris.
