The painting itself dates to the 1900-1999 and is an original work by the world famous studio in Paris, the “Atelier Dagher”. The Atelier Dagher have for 35 years been faithfully painting Old Masters copies and are one of the few artists to be authorised by the Louvre and Orsay Museums in Paris to paint in situ. Mr Amal Dagher, the senior member of the family of painters, is often present in front of his easel in the Louvre Museum to paint in the way of a genuine Great Master painting (on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9am till 13H30 pm ). The Dagher Atelier is located in Boulogne Billancourt (92100) near Paris. An Atelier Dagher commission can run into many thousands of euros/ pounds or dollars and this is an excellent opportunity to acquire one of their original works. Painted on this very large scale, it is a magnificent and fine quality work indeed. Condition report: The painting is in very good condition. It has a few surface scuffs from being stored in the artists studio, but is very presentable and pleasing.
