The foreground is a mint green colour, enabling the model to pop out from the background. It is so typical of the 1960’s period from which it hails. This is such a striking portrait, very intriguing, almost like a still taken from a film production. Such a fashionable portrait deserves to be hung in a highly visible position, either a hallway or perhaps in a bustling restaurant? The work is of British authorship and signed with the artists initials to the lower corner, as well as being dated 1969. Condition report: The painting and frame are both in a very good condition.
