He quickly gained recognition for his talent and his work, exhibiting regularly in France and Belgium in the 60s / 70s. He explored many themes and styles, drawing inspiration from great artists such as Picasso, notably by interpreting Picasso’s Guernica period. Moving from Cubism to the abstract, via Dadaism, his touch and his personal vision fully expresses his talent. He also made multiple painted works, rarely exhibited, in his favorite styles where all his talent also appears. Title: Surrealist Figures holding a bird. Medium: oil painting, on thick card, double sided. Size: painting: 20.5 x 41.5 inches Provenance: all the paintings we have by this artist have come from their estate in France. Condition: The painting is in good and pleasing condition, with some slight warping to the card, easily resolved with framing.
