Mid 1900-1999 1950’s French Post-Impressionist Oil Waterlily Pond Summer

The Waterlily Pond signed by Regine David (female French artist, 1910-2018) dated 1945 oil painting on board, unframed measures: 13 x 16 inches condition: the painting is in very sound and presentable condition and certainly very original. It had previously been stored with the artists estate and there are a very few surface scuffs and marks. provenance: from the artists estate, Paris Stunning original mid 1900-1999 oil painting in the Post-Impressionist style of painting, with thick impasto oil to the surface. This painting is one of several works by the female French artist, Regine David (1910-2018) we have available, all of which came from the artists estate in Paris, France. Painted with a delightful spontaneous feel and a freshness to the palette. A very ‘painterly’ work and a delight to behold.
