The abstract style painting shows a medley of coloured flecks, based on a ochre background, with a soft range of reds and greens. There is a faint outline of a face with what we believe to be a crown, lost amongst the cubist paint strokes. Cubism has been considered the most influential art movement of the 1900-1999. The work has excellent provenance having come from a large collection of the artists work in Normandy, France.
